When designing this poster series, I drew upon my own experience to bring a few of the lesser-known practices and beliefs within the corporate pet industry to light. Over a ten-year period, I worked as a store manager for three of the largest companies in the industry. The first two posters respond to how the industry views its living merchandise, while the third offers an alternative solution to buying animals in stores. (2016)
